What MusabaQa is

A website for amateur clubs and communities in Qatar to keep a roster, open a game, run the signup list, pick balanced teams and record the result. It is run by Rasim Kurum in Doha. It is free to use, and it is provided as it is — there is no paid plan, no service level promise, and features may change.

Your account

One account per person, with a real name your clubmates will recognise. Keep the email address you sign in with secure — anyone with it can get into your account. You may close your account at any time by writing to us.

Playing fair

Do not use MusabaQa to:

• put someone's name, photo or details up without them being happy about it;
• harass, threaten or abuse anybody, in a note, a club name or a message;
• break into or scrape parts of the site you were not given access to, or work around the privacy rules that keep clubs private;
• upload anything unlawful, or any photo you do not have the right to share;
• impersonate another player or club.

Accounts and clubs that do these things get removed, without notice where somebody is being harmed.

If you organise

Running a club here gives you real power over other people's experience: you can add and remove members, record who played, mark who has paid, and see notes people leave. Use it for the game and nothing else. Members you add are people, not entries — tell them what you are recording about them, and take them off the list when they ask.

Money

MusabaQa does not take, hold or move any money. Where a game has a cost per player, the site is only a shared note of who has paid; collecting it and settling up is entirely between the organiser and the players. Any disagreement about money is yours to sort out.

The games themselves

We do not organise, supervise, insure or vet anything. Pitches, equipment, referees, injuries, insurance and who you choose to play with are matters for you and your club. Sport carries risk; you take part at your own risk. Check that a venue and a group are right for you before turning up.

What you post

Your photos, notes and club descriptions stay yours. By posting them you allow MusabaQa to store and show them to the people the privacy rules say can see them, so the site can do its job. You are responsible for having the right to post whatever you post.

Liability

The service comes without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, MusabaQa is not liable for loss or damage arising from using it — including a game that did not happen, a list that was wrong, a notification that did not arrive, or anything that occurred at a match.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
